Brandon's experience as an adjunct professor, repetiteur, choreographer, and guest teacher has allowed him to work closely with countless college and university programs nationwide. Now, through his interactive Mentoring Program tailored for high school-aged dancers and their parents, Brandon provides invaluable guidance to navigate the college application and decision process.

This one-year virtual program has limited availability. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until full.

1-1 meetings

Brandon will connect with dancers and parents four times over the year. We will discuss dynamic stratigies for executing your goals and create a tangible action plan for the application process.

Three meetings will be geared toward the Dancer. One meeting will be for Parents only.

application review

Cover letters and personal statements help show who you are as an artistic citizen. Brandon will guide you through this process and help you draft language for these vital application materials.

COACHING

Based on specific program requirements, Brandon will coach your audition solo or review material to help you prepare for your audition.

RESUME/BIO/HEADSHOT

With years of experience “behind the table,” Brandon knows what audition materials stand out. He will provide feedback on resume formatting, advise on headshot options for commercial and concert gigs, and help you craft the narrative in your biography — all to help you distinguish yourself in the audition process.

NETWORK

Curious about a specific school or program? Brandon has a myriad of connections with various institutions throughout the country. He will gladly connect you with one of his colleagues so you can ask them any questions directly.

SOLO CHOREOGRAPHY

For auditions, most colleges prefer to see a modern/contemporary solo. Not sure where to start? Brandon will choreograph a unique solo for you, highlighting your strengths, tailored to your application material.

With a diverse background encompassing commercial and concert dance, staging work for ballet companies, running rehearsals on film sets, hiring dancers for concert productions, and extensive behind-the-scenes involvement, Brandon brings a wealth of experience to the table. His Pre-Professional Mentorship Program offers invaluable guidance for dancers poised to enter the professional dance scene, providing comprehensive support and insight into the industry.

This program is entirely customizable to ensure we work toward your specific goals. The mentorship timeline, scope, and program are entirely custom-built per person.
